Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Fleurs dans un vase by Moïse Kisling was auctioned at Christies in New York in May this year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 32,760.00 (€ 30,749.01) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Moïse Kisling achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Course de taureaux in June this year with an auction result of GBP 472,500.00 (€ 549,908.65).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Fleurs dans un vase von Moïse Kisling kam im Mai diesen Jahres bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 32.760,00 (€ 30.749,01) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Moïse Kisling erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Course de taureaux im Juni diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 472.500,00 (€ 549.908,65).
