This work without title by Mohan Samant was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in March 2018. It achieved a price of USD 10,625.00 (€ 8,624.19), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 33%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Mohan Samant achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Kings And The Crowd in March 2020 with an auction result of USD 162,500.00 (€ 147,338.83).

Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Mohan Samant kam im März 2018 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 10.625,00 (€ 8.624,19) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 33%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Mohan Samant erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Kings And The Crowd im März 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 162.500,00 (€ 147.338,83).
