It achieved a price of GBP 50,400.00 (€ 55,574.19), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 68%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Mohan Samant - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Kings And The Crowd, which sold at auction in March 2020 for USD 162,500.00 (€ 147,338.83).
