This work without title by Mohan Samant was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in March 2007. It achieved a price of USD 24,000.00 (€ 17,945.27), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 60%. Admittedly, works by Mohan Samant have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Kings And The Crowd in March 2020 with an auction result of USD 162,500.00 (€ 147,338.83).

Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Mohan Samant kam im März 2007 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 24.000,00 (€ 17.945,27) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 60%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Mohan Samant auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Kings And The Crowd im März 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 162.500,00 (€ 147.338,83).
