A top price for Mohammed Ismail - as previously expected
This work without title by Mohammed Ismail was sold in the Modern & Contemporary Arab, Iranian & Turkish Art Including Masterpieces from The Pharos Art Collection & From The Maath Alousi Collection auction at Christies in Dubai in March 2014. It changed hands for a price of USD 37,500.00 (€ 27,219.28) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 30,000.00 – 40,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, this work without title is the most expensive artwork by Mohammed Ismail that we have observed at auctions so far.

Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Mohammed Ismail wurde im März 2014 in der Auktion Modern & Contemporary Arab, Iranian & Turkish Art Including Masterpieces from The Pharos Art Collection & From The Maath Alousi Collection bei Christies in Dubai versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 37.500,00 (€ 27.219,28) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 30.000,00 – 40.000,00. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist dieses Werk ohne Titel das teuerste Kunstwerk von Mohammed Ismail, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
