Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Mitra Tabrizian could be acquired at Phillips in London in December 2020 for an unexpectedly low price. In the New Now auction, the work From the Series: Lost Times “Women Crossing Highway” changed hands for GBP 504.00 (€ 563.01) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Mitra Tabrizian achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Man Falling, From 'Beyond The Limits', 2000 in November 2008 with an auction result of GBP 18,750.00 (€ 22,670.16).
