Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2007 Christies in Dubai held the auction International Modern and Contemporary Art, which included the work Tehran 2006 by Mitra Tabrizian. The price achieved of USD 10,000.00 (€ 6,911.81) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Mitra Tabrizian - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Man Falling, From 'Beyond The Limits', 2000, which sold at auction in November 2008 for GBP 18,750.00 (€ 22,670.16).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2007 führte Christies in Dubai die Auktion International Modern and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Tehran 2006 von Mitra Tabrizian zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 10.000,00 (€ 6.911,81) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Mitra Tabrizian mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Man Falling, From 'Beyond The Limits', 2000 beobachtet, die im November 2008 für GBP 18.750,00 (€ 22.670,16) versteigert wurde.
