This artwork by Mirko Basaldella achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in London in June 2021. In the Modern & Contemporary Art auction, the work Totem, 1958 sold for GBP 3,570.00 (€ 4,159.98) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 2,000.00. Admittedly, works by Mirko Basaldella have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Allegoria della settimana (bangle), 1948-1950 in June 2019 with an auction result of GBP 27,562.00 (€ 30,983.78).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 79 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Mirko Basaldella erzielte im Juni 2021 bei Bonhams in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern & Contemporary Art wurde die Arbeit Totem, 1958 für GBP 3.570,00 (€ 4.159,98) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 2.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Mirko Basaldella auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Allegoria della settimana (bangle), 1948-1950 im Juni 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 27.562,00 (€ 30.983,78).
