Auction result well in line with expectations
In July 2008 Christies in New York held the auction Christie's Interiors, which included this untitled work by Mirko Basaldella. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 1,000.00 – 1,500.00, the actual price achieved of USD 1,062.50 (€ 681.57) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Mirko Basaldella achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Allegoria della settimana (bangle), 1948-1950 in June 2019 with an auction result of GBP 27,562.00 (€ 30,983.78).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli 2008 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Christie's Interiors durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Mirko Basaldella zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 1.062,50 (€ 681,57) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Mirko Basaldella erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Allegoria della settimana (bangle), 1948-1950 im Juni 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 27.562,00 (€ 30.983,78).
