Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Golden Trevally, Mangrove Jack, Mullett, Bluefish and Groper by Sally Gabori was auctioned at Bonhams in April this year. It achieved a price of AUD 14,760.00 (€ 8,846.64), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 23%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Sally Gabori - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work My Father's Country, 2009, which sold at auction in November 2021 for AUD 27,060.00 (€ 23,974.48).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Golden Trevally, Mangrove Jack, Mullett, Bluefish and Groper von Sally Gabori kam im April diesen Jahres bei Bonhams zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von AUD 14.760,00 (€ 8.846,64) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 23%. Für andere Arbeiten von Sally Gabori mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit My Father's Country, 2009 beobachtet, die im November 2021 für AUD 27.060,00 (€ 23.974,48) versteigert wurde.
