Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In May 2003 Christies in Milan held the auction ARTE MODERNA E CONTEMPORANEA, which included the work Figure by Mino Maccari. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 3,472.00 16% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Mino Maccari - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Tre figure, which sold at auction in May 2001 for ITL 10,412,500.00 (€ 9,852.16).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Mai 2003 führte Christies in Mailand die Auktion ARTE MODERNA E CONTEMPORANEA durch, in der auch die Arbeit Figure von Mino Maccari zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 3.472,00 und damit 16% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Mino Maccari mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Tre figure beobachtet, die im Mai 2001 für ITL 10.412.500,00 (€ 9.852,16) versteigert wurde.
