This work without title by Minnie Evans was sold in the Outsider and Vernacular Art auction at Christies in January this year. It achieved a price of USD 10,080.00 (€ 9,283.48), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 44%. Admittedly, works by Minnie Evans have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Voice of the Third Angel in January this year with an auction result of USD 42,840.00 (€ 39,454.78).

Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Minnie Evans wurde im Januar diesen Jahres in der Auktion Outsider and Vernacular Art bei Christies versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 10.080,00 (€ 9.283,48) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 44%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Minnie Evans auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Voice of the Third Angel im Januar diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 42.840,00 (€ 39.454,78).
