This work without title by Minnie Evans was sold in the Outsider and Vernacular Art auction at Christies in January this year. It achieved a price of USD 16,380.00 (€ 15,085.65), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 64%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Minnie Evans - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Voice of the Third Angel, which sold at auction in January this year for USD 42,840.00 (€ 39,454.78).

Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Minnie Evans wurde im Januar diesen Jahres in der Auktion Outsider and Vernacular Art bei Christies versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 16.380,00 (€ 15.085,65) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 64%. Für andere Arbeiten von Minnie Evans mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Voice of the Third Angel beobachtet, die im Januar diesen Jahres für USD 42.840,00 (€ 39.454,78) versteigert wurde.
