Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Untitled, 1963 by Minnie Evans was auctioned at Christies in New York in January 2021. Here, the upper estimate of USD 18,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 20,000.00 (€ 16,481.25). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Minnie Evans - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Voice of the Third Angel, which sold at auction in January this year for USD 42,840.00 (€ 39,454.78).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Untitled, 1963 von Minnie Evans kam im Januar 2021 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 18.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 20.000,00 (€ 16.481,25) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Minnie Evans mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Voice of the Third Angel beobachtet, die im Januar diesen Jahres für USD 42.840,00 (€ 39.454,78) versteigert wurde.
