In January 2018 Christies in New York held the auction Beyond Imagination: Outsider and Vernacular Art Featuring the Collection of Marjorie and Harvey Freed, which included the work Native American Woman amidst Grasses by Minnie Evans. The auction ended at the price of USD 3,000.00 (€ 2,413.90), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of USD 1,500.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Minnie Evans achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Voice of the Third Angel in January this year with an auction result of USD 42,840.00 (€ 39,454.78).

Im Januar 2018 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Beyond Imagination: Outsider and Vernacular Art Featuring the Collection of Marjorie and Harvey Freed durch, in der auch die Arbeit Native American Woman amidst Grasses von Minnie Evans zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 3.000,00 (€ 2.413,90) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 1.500,00 – 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Minnie Evans erzielen.
