Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2011 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale), which included the work Passage 4 by Min Jung Yeon. The price achieved of HKD 100,000.00 (€ 8,945.46) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 80,000.00 – 120,000.00. Admittedly, works by Min Jung Yeon have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Partir in May 2007 with an auction result of HKD 420,000.00 (€ 39,992.57).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2011 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) durch, in der auch die Arbeit Passage 4 von Min Jung Yeon zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 100.000,00 (€ 8.945,46) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 80.000,00 – 120.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Min Jung Yeon auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Partir im Mai 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 420.000,00 (€ 39.992,57).
