Auction result well in line with expectations

The work Lutte by Min Jung Yeon was sold in the Contemporary Showcase: Cheer Up! auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in May 2020. The price achieved of HKD 50,000.00 (€ 5,811.86) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Admittedly, works by Min Jung Yeon have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Partir in May 2007 with an auction result of HKD 420,000.00 (€ 39,992.57).

Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen

Die Arbeit Lutte von Min Jung Yeon wurde im Mai 2020 in der Auktion Contemporary Showcase: Cheer Up! bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 50.000,00 (€ 5.811,86) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Min Jung Yeon auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Partir im Mai 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 420.000,00 (€ 39.992,57).
