Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Come in un film by Mimmo Rotella was sold in the Post-War and Contemporary Art Day Sale auction at Christies in London in October last year. The price achieved of GBP 15,120.00 (€ 17,614.63) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Mimmo Rotella achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in February 2016 with an auction result of GBP 1,082,500.00 (€ 1,387,090.08).

Die Arbeit Come in un film von Mimmo Rotella wurde im Oktober letzten Jahres in der Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art Day Sale bei Christies in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 15.120,00 (€ 17.614,63) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 12.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Mimmo Rotella erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im Februar 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.082.500,00 (€ 1.387.090,08).
