Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Mimmo Paladino could be acquired at Christies in Paris in July this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the First Open: Post-War and Contemporary Art Online auction, the work (i): Untitled 12(ii): Untitled 13 changed hands for GBP 1,764.00 (€ 2,058.05) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Mimmo Paladino achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Vespero in November 2008 with an auction result of EUR 216,750.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Mimmo Paladino konnte im Juli diesen Jahres bei Christies in Paris für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion First Open: Post-War and Contemporary Art Online wechselte die Arbeit (i): Untitled 12(ii): Untitled 13 für GBP 1.764,00 (€ 2.058,05) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Mimmo Paladino erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Vespero im November 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 216.750,00.
