Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Mimmo Paladino was sold in the Post-War & Contemporary Art Online Sale auction at Bonhams in London in December this year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 7,000.00 – 10,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 7,680.00 (€ 8,847.07) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Mimmo Paladino achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Vespero in November 2008 with an auction result of EUR 216,750.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Mimmo Paladino wurde im Dezember diesen Jahres in der Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art Online Sale bei Bonhams in London versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 7.000,00 – 10.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 7.680,00 (€ 8.847,07) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Mimmo Paladino erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Vespero im November 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 216.750,00.
