A top price for Mimmo Paladino - as previously expected
In November 2008 Sothebys in Milan held the auction Contemporary Art, which included the work Vespero by Mimmo Paladino. It changed hands for a price of EUR 216,750.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 180,000.00 – 220,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Vespero is the most expensive artwork by Mimmo Paladino that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Im November 2008 führte Sothebys in Mailand die Auktion Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Vespero von Mimmo Paladino zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 216.750,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 180.000,00 – 220.000,00. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Vespero das teuerste Kunstwerk von Mimmo Paladino, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
