Despite a disappointment, a good price for Miklos Gaál
In November 2014 a collector was able to acquire the work Frozen Sea by Miklos Gaál for GBP 6,250.00 (€ 7,857.98). This price was achieved in the auction Photographs at Phillips in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 7,000.00 – 9,000.00 set by the auction house. Despite this disappointing result, Frozen Sea is the most expensive artwork by Miklos Gaál that we have observed at auction so far.
Trotz Enttäuschung ein guter Preis für Miklos Gaál
Im November 2014 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Frozen Sea von Miklos Gaál für GBP 6.250,00 (€ 7.857,98) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Photographs bei Phillips in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 7.000,00 – 9.000,00. Trotz dieses enttäuschenden Ergebnisses ist Frozen Sea das teuerste Kunstwerk von Miklos Gaál, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
