Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2018 Grisebach held the auction Frühjahrsauktionen 2018 - Photographie, which included the work „Version of history“, aus der Serie „Imitation of Life“, 1999–2003. by Miklos Gaál. It changed hands for a price of EUR 875.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 700.00 – 900.00. Admittedly, works by Miklos Gaál have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Frozen Sea in November 2014 with an auction result of GBP 6,250.00 (€ 7,857.98).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2018 führte Grisebach die Auktion Frühjahrsauktionen 2018 - Photographie durch, in der auch die Arbeit „Version of history“, aus der Serie „Imitation of Life“, 1999–2003. von Miklos Gaál zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 875,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 700,00 – 900,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Miklos Gaál auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Frozen Sea im November 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 6.250,00 (€ 7.857,98).
