Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work "Amber Valetta, New York Studio, 2000" by Mikael Jansson was sold in the Contemporary Art & Design auction at Bukowski in Stockholm in April 2019. It achieved a price of SEK 60,000.00 (€ 5,635.21), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 20%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Mikael Jansson - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Kendall Jenner, New York studio, which sold at auction in May 2017 for GBP 15,000.00 (€ 17,228.11).

Die Arbeit "Amber Valetta, New York Studio, 2000" von Mikael Jansson wurde im April 2019 in der Auktion Contemporary Art & Design bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von SEK 60.000,00 (€ 5.635,21) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 20%. Für andere Arbeiten von Mikael Jansson mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Kendall Jenner, New York studio beobachtet, die im Mai 2017 für GBP 15.000,00 (€ 17.228,11) versteigert wurde.
