Auction result misses estimated price range
In November 2012 a collector was able to acquire the work Archimedes by Miguel Padura for USD 11,250.00 (€ 8,647.19). This price was achieved in the auction Latin American Art at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 12,000.00 – 18,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Miguel Padura - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Alcatraces, which sold at auction in May 2010 for USD 27,500.00 (€ 22,233.00).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im November 2012 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Archimedes von Miguel Padura für USD 11.250,00 (€ 8.647,19) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Latin American Art bei Sothebys in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 12.000,00 – 18.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Miguel Padura mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Alcatraces beobachtet, die im Mai 2010 für USD 27.500,00 (€ 22.233,00) versteigert wurde.
