Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In October last year Christies in New York held the auction Latin American Art Online, which included the work Naturaleza Muerta (Still Life) by Miguel Padura. Here, the upper estimate of USD 8,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 8,190.00 (€ 8,244.41). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Miguel Padura - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Alcatraces, which sold at auction in May 2010 for USD 27,500.00 (€ 22,233.00).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Oktober letzten Jahres führte Christies in New York die Auktion Latin American Art Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Naturaleza Muerta (Still Life) von Miguel Padura zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 8.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 8.190,00 (€ 8.244,41) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Miguel Padura mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Alcatraces beobachtet, die im Mai 2010 für USD 27.500,00 (€ 22.233,00) versteigert wurde.
