This artwork by Michele Vitaloni achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in November 2010. In the Sporting & Wildlife Art Including an Important Private Collection of Works by Archibald Thorburn and Charles Frederick Tunnicliffe auction, the work Leopard sold for GBP 9,375.00 (€ 11,203.11) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 5,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Michele Vitaloni; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Garganey sold at auction in December 2012 with the realized price of GBP 16,250.00 (€ 20,040.76).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Michele Vitaloni erzielte im November 2010 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Sporting & Wildlife Art Including an Important Private Collection of Works by Archibald Thorburn and Charles Frederick Tunnicliffe wurde die Arbeit Leopard für GBP 9.375,00 (€ 11.203,11) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 5.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Michele Vitaloni; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Garganey im Dezember 2012 mit dem Hammerpreis von GBP 16.250,00 (€ 20.040,76).
