Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In December 2012 Christies in London held the auction Sporting & Wildlife Art, which included the work Wren under ivy by Michele Vitaloni. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 2,375.00 (€ 2,929.03), 19% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Michele Vitaloni have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Garganey in December 2012 with an auction result of GBP 16,250.00 (€ 20,040.76).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Dezember 2012 führte Christies in London die Auktion Sporting & Wildlife Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Wren under ivy von Michele Vitaloni zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 2.375,00 (€ 2.929,03) und damit 19% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Michele Vitaloni auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Garganey im Dezember 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 16.250,00 (€ 20.040,76).
