Auction result misses estimated price range
In July 2011 a collector was able to acquire this work without title by Michael Young for USD 125.00 (€ 87.18). This price was achieved in the auction Christie's Interiors at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 1,000.00 – 1,500.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Michael Young achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Pair of PETITE SERGENT ceiling pendants in July 2020 with an auction result of HKD 62,500.00 (€ 6,847.72).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juli 2011 konnte ein Sammler diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Michael Young für USD 125,00 (€ 87,18) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Christie's Interiors bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Michael Young erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Pair of PETITE SERGENT ceiling pendants im Juli 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 62.500,00 (€ 6.847,72).
