A top price for Michael Young
In July 2020 Phillips in Hong Kong held the auction 20th Century & Contemporary Art & Design Day Sale, which included the work Pair of PETITE SERGENT ceiling pendants by Michael Young. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 60,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 62,500.00 (€ 6,847.72). With this result, Pair of PETITE SERGENT ceiling pendants is even the most expensive work of art by Michael Young that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im Juli 2020 führte Phillips in Hong Kong die Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art & Design Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Pair of PETITE SERGENT ceiling pendants von Michael Young zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 60.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 62.500,00 (€ 6.847,72) einen neuen Besitzer. Mit diesem Ergebnis ist Pair of PETITE SERGENT ceiling pendants sogar das teuerste Kunstwerk von Michael Young, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
