The auction ended at the price of EUR 15,000.00, which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of EUR 12,000.00 – 15,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Michael Triegel - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Karfreitag 1300, which sold at auction in May 2019 for EUR 58,050.00.

Die Arbeit „Selbstbildnis“. von Michael Triegel wurde im Juni 2021 in der Auktion Sommer 2021 - Moderne Kunst bei Grisebach versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von EUR 15.000,00 entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 12.000,00 – 15.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Michael Triegel mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Karfreitag 1300 beobachtet, die im Mai 2019 für EUR 58.050,00 versteigert wurde.
