Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Yellow Green & Blue by Michael Kidner was sold in the Made in Britain auction at Sothebys in London in March 2020. The price achieved of GBP 5,250.00 (€ 5,928.33) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Admittedly, works by Michael Kidner have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Orange And White Painting in June 2017 with an auction result of GBP 25,000.00 (€ 28,470.34).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Yellow Green & Blue von Michael Kidner wurde im März 2020 in der Auktion Made in Britain bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 5.250,00 (€ 5.928,33) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Michael Kidner auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Orange And White Painting im Juni 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 25.000,00 (€ 28.470,34).
