It achieved a price of GBP 23,300.00 (€ 29,704.21), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 17%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Michael Dahl - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Double Portrait Of A Lady And A Gentleman, which sold at auction in December 2017 for GBP 56,250.00 (€ 63,301.14).
