The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 8,125.00 (€ 9,331.89) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Michael Dahl have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Double Portrait Of A Lady And A Gentleman in December 2017 with an auction result of GBP 56,250.00 (€ 63,301.14).
