Auction result well in line with expectations
In February 2019 Bonhams in Los Angeles held the auction The L.D. "Brink" Brinkman Collection Online, which included the work Indian Village by Michael B. Coleman. It changed hands for a price of USD 2,750.00 (€ 2,416.73) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Michael B. Coleman achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work In the Rockies—Blackfeet in October 2020 with an auction result of USD 32,500.00 (€ 27,904.18).

Im Februar 2019 führte Bonhams in Los Angeles die Auktion The L.D. "Brink" Brinkman Collection Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Indian Village von Michael B. Coleman zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 2.750,00 (€ 2.416,73) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Michael B. Coleman erzielen.
