Auction result well in line with expectations
In August 2021 Bonhams in Los Angeles held the auction Portrait of the WestThe Diane and Sam Stewart Collection, which included the work Blackfeet Encampment by Michael B. Coleman. It changed hands for a price of USD 7,650.00 (€ 6,483.05) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Admittedly, works by Michael B. Coleman have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work In the Rockies—Blackfeet in October 2020 with an auction result of USD 32,500.00 (€ 27,904.18).

Coleman zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 7.650,00 (€ 6.483,05) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Michael B.
