Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Chrysanthemum, Bamboo, and Orchid by Mi Wanzhong was auctioned at POLY in October 2019. It changed hands for a price of HKD 141,600.00 (€ 16,184.67) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 100,000.00 – 150,000.00. Admittedly, works by Mi Wanzhong have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Landscape in November 2005 with an auction result of HKD 600,000.00 (€ 65,648.85).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Chrysanthemum, Bamboo, and Orchid von Mi Wanzhong kam im Oktober 2019 bei POLY zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 141.600,00 (€ 16.184,67) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 100.000,00 – 150.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Mi Wanzhong auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Landscape im November 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 600.000,00 (€ 65.648,85).
