Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Meredyth Sparks could be acquired at Phillips in 12 - in April this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Wired: Online Auction auction, the work Gudrun Constructed I-V changed hands for GBP 572.00 (€ 651.89) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Meredyth Sparks achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Gudrun Constructed I-V in March 2012 with an auction result of USD 8,750.00 (€ 6,562.17).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Meredyth Sparks konnte im April diesen Jahres bei Phillips in 12 - für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Wired: Online Auction wechselte die Arbeit Gudrun Constructed I-V für GBP 572,00 (€ 651,89) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Meredyth Sparks erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Gudrun Constructed I-V im März 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 8.750,00 (€ 6.562,17).
