It achieved a price of GBP 20,480.00 (€ 23,893.95), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 37%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Merab Abramishvili - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work 'Black Panther', which sold at auction in July this year for GBP 76,600.00 (€ 89,368.98).

Die Arbeit Angel of Khareba von Merab Abramishvili kam im Juli diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 20.480,00 (€ 23.893,95) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 37%. Für andere Arbeiten von Merab Abramishvili mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit 'Black Panther' beobachtet, die im Juli diesen Jahres für GBP 76.600,00 (€ 89.368,98) versteigert wurde.
