Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Last Supper, 2005 by Merab Abramishvili was sold in the Art from Georgia & Armenia Online Sale auction at Bonhams in March this year. The price achieved of GBP 44,400.00 (€ 50,513.58) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 40,000.00 – 50,000.00. Other works by Merab Abramishvili have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in July this year the work 'Black Panther' was auctioned for GBP 76,600.00 (€ 89,368.98).
