The price achieved of GBP 2,304.00 (€ 2,688.07) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Admittedly, works by Melita Denaro have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Intimacy Of Solitude in October 2015 with an auction result of GBP 10,625.00 (€ 14,861.72).
