Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Melinda Harper was auctioned at Christies in Sydney in August 2003. The price achieved of AUD 8,225.00 (€ 4,858.93) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as AUD 7,000.00 – 9,000.00. Other works by Melinda Harper have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in June 2002 the work without title was auctioned for AUD 14,687.50 (€ 8,386.90).
