It achieved a price of GBP 13,750.00 (€ 15,677.69), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 72%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Meera Mukherjee achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled (Mango Orchard) in March last year with an auction result of USD 226,800.00 (€ 204,453.26).

Die Arbeit Untitled (Fisherman) von Meera Mukherjee kam im Oktober 2017 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 13.750,00 (€ 15.677,69) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 72%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Meera Mukherjee erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Untitled (Mango Orchard) im März letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 226.800,00 (€ 204.453,26).
