It achieved a price of USD 227,175.00 (€ 220,066.84), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 26%. Admittedly, works by Maynard Dixon have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Pony Boy in October 2000 with an auction result of USD 1,326,000.00 (€ 1,562,573.65).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 227.175,00 (€ 220.066,84) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 26%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Maynard Dixon auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Pony Boy im Oktober 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.326.000,00 (€ 1.562.573,65).
