This artwork by Max Yavno achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in New York in October 2007. In the Photographs auction, the work Muscle Beach sold for USD 12,500.00 (€ 8,639.76) - well above the upper estimate of USD 7,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Max Yavno - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Muscle Beach, which sold at auction in October 2012 for USD 28,750.00 (€ 22,187.07).

In der Auktion Photographs wurde die Arbeit Muscle Beach für USD 12.500,00 (€ 8.639,76) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 7.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Max Yavno mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Muscle Beach beobachtet, die im Oktober 2012 für USD 28.750,00 (€ 22.187,07) versteigert wurde.
