Auction result well in line with expectations
In July 2020 Sothebys in New York held the auction Legends, Landscapes, and Lovelies | Photographs, which included the work Muscle Beach by Max Yavno. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 15,000.00 – 25,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 17,500.00 (€ 14,863.26) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Max Yavno have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in October 2012 the work Muscle Beach was auctioned for USD 28,750.00 (€ 22,187.07).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli 2020 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Legends, Landscapes, and Lovelies | Photographs durch, in der auch die Arbeit Muscle Beach von Max Yavno zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 15.000,00 – 25.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 17.500,00 (€ 14.863,26) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Max Yavno konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Oktober 2012 die Arbeit Muscle Beach für USD 28.750,00 (€ 22.187,07) versteigert.
