Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Trees by Mauro Malang Santos was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in July 2020. The price achieved of HKD 187,500.00 (€ 20,543.15) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 150,000.00 – 250,000.00. Admittedly, works by Mauro Malang Santos have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Yellow Vendor in October 2017 with an auction result of HKD 825,000.00 (€ 90,801.00).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Trees von Mauro Malang Santos kam im Juli 2020 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 187.500,00 (€ 20.543,15) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 150.000,00 – 250.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Mauro Malang Santos auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Yellow Vendor im Oktober 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 825.000,00 (€ 90.801,00).
