Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Plants by Mauro Malang Santos was sold in the Asian 20th Century Art (Day Sale) auction at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2011. The price achieved of HKD 100,000.00 (€ 9,566.64) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 80,000.00 – 120,000.00. Admittedly, works by Mauro Malang Santos have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Yellow Vendor in October 2017 with an auction result of HKD 825,000.00 (€ 90,801.00).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Plants von Mauro Malang Santos wurde im November 2011 in der Auktion Asian 20th Century Art (Day Sale) bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 100.000,00 (€ 9.566,64) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 80.000,00 – 120.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Mauro Malang Santos auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Yellow Vendor im Oktober 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 825.000,00 (€ 90.801,00).
