Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Snowball Love, 2015 by Maurizio Cattelan was sold in the Prints and Multiples auction at Bonhams in Brussels in June this year. The price achieved of EUR 384.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 300.00 – 500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Maurizio Cattelan achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Him in May 2016 with an auction result of USD 17,189,000.00 (€ 15,436,910.64).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Snowball Love, 2015 von Maurizio Cattelan wurde im Juni diesen Jahres in der Auktion Prints and Multiples bei Bonhams in Brüssel versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 384,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 300,00 – 500,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Maurizio Cattelan erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Him im Mai 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 17.189.000,00 (€ 15.436.910,64).
