Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work L.O.V.E, 2014 by Maurizio Cattelan was sold in the Prints and Multiples auction at Bonhams in Brussels in June this year. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 600.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 640.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Maurizio Cattelan achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Him in May 2016 with an auction result of USD 17,189,000.00 (€ 15,436,910.64).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit L.O.V.E, 2014 von Maurizio Cattelan wurde im Juni diesen Jahres in der Auktion Prints and Multiples bei Bonhams in Brüssel versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 600,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 640,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Maurizio Cattelan erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Him im Mai 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 17.189.000,00 (€ 15.436.910,64).
